Exactly! I was taught the same way and that’s how I use them. Completely situational. I do hear チケット being used more often though in the past four years I’ve lived here.

Hey guys, would anyone who has the book / is going to buy it be willing it post a picture of one of the new/interesting dialogues at the beginning of the chapters? I used Genki in college and the 2nd edition book was already 4 years old at the time, so I’m curious about the updates they made to the dialogue to get with the times
