In the word 豚カツ I accidentally typed とんカつ (hiragana つ instead of katakana ツ) but the SRS response was “Don’t forget that ん is typed as “nn”. Try typing “tonnkatsu”.”
The response should definitely not be this, just a weird quirk that I found lol

How did you even get the partial katakana? I’ve always typed とんかつ and it’s always been accepted.

Upper case = katakana, for WaniKani’s IME.

Yeah as Belthazar said uppercase makes katakana, I try to use katakana just because I find it better to memorize it like that but you don’t need it to be marked correct
