Why do so many messages get flagged for no reason?? There are many messages that get flagged for inappropriate reason(s) pinpointed in the community guidelines but there are still so many messages that get flagged (and hidden) for absolutely no reason that is not even remotely close to any rule. I’ve seen instances of a post getting flagged for not liking the sun. This post might as well get flagged to get me silenced. I’m serious with this. Not clickbait

Flags are just here to alert moderators. If a post is inappropriately flagged, they will remove the flag.
You can still read messages that were flagged, so it doesn’t really silences anything I think.

Are you sure you aren’t seeing deleted posts? If someone deletes their own post, you see a similar message get posted.

This. Just because a post is flagged by someone doesn’t make it “silenced”. The mods make that decision in the end. At the end of the day, not everyone is going to agree, but that’s the nature of the internet and we have to accept it

Idk some are flagged and it seems a stretch but the moderators saw it as something that was innapropriate and against TOS so it is hidden.
I didn’t think that the mods decided to hide posts… I thought they just got hidden automatically after enough people (or maybe a regular) flagged it.
