From what I’ve seen this game contains roughly twice as much text as FF1. As a result I intend to set a weekly pace roughly 1.5x to 2x faster than the previous club.
I also don’t plan to transcribe everything in the spreadsheet because that will be too much work (both because of the increased amount of text, and also because the dialogue trees are more complex in this game and it’s more work to exhaust every NPC’s dialogue). I’m not sure what to do instead, maybe just vocab sheets like many book clubs use? Plus list of items and spells?
We also need to decide on the start date. We will finish the FF1 club on the last week of November, do we just want a one week break before starting on 2 or do we take a longer break to give participants a bit of rest and also in order to let people catch up if they fell behind?
