Just found this, thank you so much for your efforts!
I am really happy you provided this.
This allows me to use an up to date list. And the format is ready for import in Kanji study.
Saves me some trouble.
Thanks from me too.
In particular the link to:
(if this is how to do links to other community topics? i.e. as absolute)
I have used the Kanji Study app for years and am a huge fan too.
I knew you could specify a custom kanji order to follow so I was planning to set it up for wk
at some point.
The pastebin contents are great - all split up into wk levels!
Hello,
Excuse me if I may, that pastebin file is from 2022.
While the kanji did not change the order did.
Would it be beneficial for you if I post a updated pastebin text file with the current order?
The have changed the order esp after 2 years.
Let me know and I will get on it. It’s 5 min work if it’s not less.
Edit:
Here it is: Export_for_KanjiStudy_Made_On_18-12-2024 - Pastebin.com
That’s very kind of you!
I will update my KS app tomorrow. Done
As you say it will be best to have the up-to-date wk order.
I used KS app a lot a couple of years ago when I was using the KLC book.
I added most of the extras including the SRS.
It tests a wide range of readings immediately for each introduced kanji, but as this is passive multiple choice recognition it may not be a problem.
There is a preference in the KS app for whether you want only the main readings.
I have enabled this to avoid being immediately checked on rarer readings.
Wani kani vocab generally seems to introduce us to other readings fairly soon.
So I am keeping my KS app SRS some way behind the kanji/level I have reached in Wanikani, if that makes sense.
