This is a slightly nerdier way to find some spoken Japanese radio, but it’s free and a web-based program
KiwiSDR is an online radio listening program. Basically, it’s a radio version of the VPN setting that changes your location. there are quite a few stations for listening in Japan. I find that the easiest way to get a station is with the map feature
each little pin is a place that you can listen to radio from. the best bet is to find a station near Tokyo, most likely AM, find the frequency, and put it into KiwiSDR. You can ignore most of the technical things that are really only for those into the tech behind the broadcast. Don’t worry about anything outside of those two red circles I made (unless you want to, but it’s not needed). This particular program uses kilohertz for frequency, but whatever you put in will be converted for you
some kind of station audible in Chiba. I’m in public so I can’t listen to see what it is
