I had a glance at the English translation on the Shonen Jump app and there is no reference to the fact that 獅子王means Lion King, so it’s only in the original Japanese that you see the significance of his name in this moment fighting the lions.
Out of interest were you referring to Yuzuriha or Tsubasa?!
