Hi! Do you know of a good tool to exercise my knowledge of counters?
Ideally it exercises both knowing the most useful counters, and forces me to remember how they change with certain numbers (eg how 十分 adds rendaku to the フン sound)

Wikipedia’s article on counters has a pretty good table regarding when rendaku is applied.
