Suggestions for Apps or Translating Exercises

Hi! Can anyone suggest an app, exercise/quiz where I’m given sentences, and then I need to translate them into Japanese, then given feedback whether I’m right or wrong? I’m looking for something like Wanikani but instead of vocabulary or kanji, I’m given sentences.

IDK, Wanikani already has those example sentences already in the context part of the review so maybe there is a plugin already which gives me those sentences instead.

Thanks!

I don’t particularly like it, but Duolingo has a lot of that

Sakubun will allow you to imput WK level and other kanji you know, then present you with Japanese sentences to translate to English.

If you want English → Japanese you could write your own sentences, or pick a favorite book and translate it.
People here would probably be willing to take a look and give feedback. Japanese sentence a day thread might be appropriate.

Oh yeah. But I think duolingo gives you a list of words then you just rearrange it does it not?

That’s on the phone at least. On desktop you either get less of that from the start or can disable it

Lingodeer does that, but not only that. Same for Bunpo (it’s not the same as Bunpro).

Don’t know if this would help, but you’re able to select “Use keyboard” instead of the word bank on Duolingo which makes the translating process a bit more practical? My comprehension increased significantly when I made the switch, but you’re quite a way ahead of me on WK so perhaps you’ve already crossed that mark.

頑張って!

Nice! I didn’t know you can do that in duolingo. I’m sure it’ll help. Thanks!
