I have been burning a few kanji / radicals that I wish I hadn’t. I got them right but some of then it’s like “I thiiink its this?” And it is and now something I barely remembered I wont be seeing again. Of course all burned items will eventually be forgotten without consuming Japanese content but I wish we could get some kind of heads up like “are you sure you want to burn this item?” And if you say no you wouldn’t see it for another few months.

You can reset burned items no? Or is that only for level 60?

So if you go to the item page then scroll down, there’s a teeny tiny button under the “Retired Date” heading that says “resurrect”. If you click that, it should put it back into your review pile

For what it’s worth, when I’m hit with a really old card and have this “I thiiiink it’s this but I am nowhere near certain” feeling, I’ve been answering fdklgjhsdf instead of my hunch, for SRS’s sake.

Yep! In SRS we trust! I just type “o” (only in rare cases is correct).
