I tried looking for an answer to this question in the search bar, but no definitive answer.
If I unsubscribe, will I still be able to search through all the kanji/vocab and their mnemonics? I understand that you will only be able to do reviews on stuff up to level 3, and any custom mnemonics will not be accessible.
The reason why I’m asking this is, I still like to occasionally refresh my mind on a mnemonic if the memory is a bit hazy, and was hoping I could do this while unsubscribed.
I remember someone level 60 in another thread asking: “what happened, I can’t access that kanji/vocab”, because they no longer subscribed. I don’t remember their usename though.
If you use Anki as well someone made an Anki add-on to syncronize your content on WK (you must provide the API number) and create a deck with that content (it mentions mnemonics as well for vocab / kanji). Is for Anki 2.1 (WaniKani Syncroniser). Specially for people aiming at actually using the WK radicals to learn further kanji, could serve as a base to continue with the system.
I didn’t find it to be too rewarding to know what happen to all the content when reaching level 60 (or any level for that matter when unsubscribing), made all the “cake” analogy somewhat bittersweet for me anyway … (what about no reviewing, but the content you unlocked is yours to search freely? ).
Anyway, I hope it’s nothing against the rules or anything mentioning that such resources exist, specially for people that for whatever reason never went lifetime even if using WK for a long time.
