I want to practice my writing, and I found a deck a while ago that gives you a kanji’s reading and meaning, and you have to write it, with the kanji coming in the order of the wanikani levels.
I was wondering if there was a similar one, but this time for the vocabulary.
e.g. it says ‘Father, おとうさん’ and on the reverse it will give you the version with the kanji aka お父さん.
It doesn’t have to be an anki deck, or even associated wanikani, but I want a way to practice writing vocab with the kanji (I have a problem where even if I know the word, eg べんきょう, and I know how to write the kanji 勉 and 強, I will not know exactly which kanji I have to use).
To add to this, if you’re specifically looking for handwriting practice, you can either write it down pen and paper, or use handwriting input on your phone or other device.
There is a service called Skritter where you can do this. I just do it by hand on regular old paper though. I recommend graph paper, or dotted graph paper, like this one, depending on availability.
As for decks, I don’t really have any good decks for you, but you could try making your own. It’s fairly straightforward if you just want something simple like that.
Oh, and, one more thing, there’s a pretty decent resource on Youtube. He also does kanji, but I really suggest you start by nailing down katakana, it’ll help your stroke order and balance greatly.
