The WaniKani Double Check script, probably the most important script that I have, was broken today and was eating my notifications, luckily the author of the script had updated it to a new version after last items were added to WaniKani. I’m probably not going to use the last items as much at my current level through WaniKani, but new features, hey!

I scanned the QR code and listened to the first 8 chapters of issue 125 from Bibi and Tina series from it, damn xddd

But speaking of Germany, I had an interview with a PhD candidate from Germany today about the experiences of being queer and immigrated to Berlin: bureaucracy, meeting people, heartbreaks, the sense of belonging and those things, apparently the interview was like an hour and a half when other people were doing it and I took two hours and I feel like I didn’t even get to all the cool parts xddd
They were asking a lot of really intimate questions that I very much appreciated, even though the results of the study are set to come out in two years only ^^
Also, damn, hardcore xddd
In terms of politics as governance, I stopped over by a booth of a political movement (…party…?) called SGP, who I was curious about what their plans for ruling Germany would be like: turns out they don’t necessarily care about actual bills, it’s more about empowering workers to be aware of the class struggle, that the companies are using their labor in specific ways, and I did ask about specific things how to empower my current Betriebsrat, but as I went, I had a feeling that the ideas they were proposing were kind of ideas that we currently abide by?
I did get a mail from them and they are interested to hear more about our Betriebsrat, so another interview sometime soon??? Who knows ^^
Also went to my first actual pointed directed Lesbian Night meetup today, with one objective in mind: making lesbian friends! Turns out there is a lot of ongoing struggles that a lot of us can relate to, and I got a few nice compliments, also traded them, that felt nice…
…oh, and one girl was half from Taipei, this book apparently has a really sapphic buildup ^^
…but yeah, as usual, the easiest way to bond with people is to commit to something weekly and then just keep going every week, which I’m probably not doing the best thing at ^^
I’ll try working on it though!
Tomorrow, I’m meeting up with my mom in Western Germany! What are we going to be looking for, I wonder
