What I have learned so far is that if you’re unsure what the reading is for a kanji, just guess kou, shou or shi. LOL
I hope the levels after 3 spam your more. I think I’m getting addicted, and I want more kanjis to grind.

Yeah about that, guessing will not get you very far though.
Yes, but also if you leverage the overlapping radicals in those kou and shou kanji, you might be able to make educated guesses ;).
Your workload will increase steadily for the first six months or so
WakiKani = 脇蟹? The armpit crab?
I totally agree. If I have no idea I just take a guess and then read through the kanji page again regardless.
Good to know! How long did it take you to reach lvl 60?
Took me about 2.5 years with several month long breaks
Heatmap for my lessons over the years. The square with the yellow box is when I reached level 60. White boxes are normal level ups
Cool! I really love the heart icon you made in 2019. <3
The heart in 2019 is truly amazing.
another admirer of the heart
Sure, but there’s always that 漢字 you’re unsure of. If you’re unsure, there’s a chance that the idea you come up with is a distant memory fading away of the correct answer - maybe you learned it as just another (censored for Levels < 33) Koichi kanji
Of course this is an abbreviated form of 脇役蟹神, the name of the Crabigator in the new Nic Cage film
At least OP didn’t rediscover the great Greek hero Paticles
漢字を下さい
漢字を食べたい
Agreed.
Also I’m embarrassed I don’t know the kanjis for kanji lol.
You’ll learn it on level 10, so no reason to be embarrassed. Instead, now you have more of them to look forward to eating!
Oh boy… Soon you will be waking up at 8am for work with 30-40 reviews to start your day (and many more to come throughout the day) going “please spare me… I don’t wanna do this all after having just woken up”
There is no kanji for “kanji”. Just like you can’t write “alphabet” in alphabetic letters.
You just did
