I have 43 BunPro, 0/37 WK (working on those lessons right now), KW is 20/523 (I brought it down from around 600 to 0/200 yesterday).
When I’m bored, I do the selfstudy on all the apprentice items

haha, that’s not a bad idea, though right now when i’m truly bored i either do more lessons on Bunpro or go for immersion, that is mostly reading Yotsubato ^^

This is from one of my favourite obscure anime, Tanaka-kun ha itsumo kedaruge (Tanaka-kun is always listless). I guess it’s a bit slow and slice of life and you have to be able to relate to being extremely lazy, but it’s also very funny a lot of times.

I have the WK wallpaper currently on my desktop and I update it every once in a while. Maybe I’ll wait a few levels now, but I always enjoy opening my laptop and looking at it.

I think I was at 180 reviews today 
I used it once or twice before. I’m gonna a use it more often now. What really pulls me down is how I often don’t understand what exactly they want to know.
For example, “father”. I often get that wrong at first because they wanted 父 and not お父さん. Same with mother.
But what really messes with me is all the variations for ‘girl’ (and young lady, woman, etc). And I can never remember when it’s 少女，女の子, 子女 or similar. Need to look at the WK vocab again and realise I shouldn’t have always relied on typing in ‘girl’ as my answer 
I also downloaded the different fonts for Tsurukame now and damn.
So basically reviewing is going great right now, is what I’m saying.

Ugh yea, all the girls! I know exactly what you mean hahaha.
I try to note all the different Japanese words for one meaning and try to figure out what the difference is. Sometimes the stuff at the bottom can help you remember, like “suru verb” or “no adjective”.
When I really don’t know which one they want, I try to remember which ones they are. If I get it wrong, but one of the things I remembered is the correct one, I press backspace (it will be ignored and doesn’t count as wrong).
Good decision on using KW more often Gambare!!

The ‘hints’ at the bottom do help! Still trying to find the helpfulness related to all the words for girl, but I’ll get there haha. I am having a lot of fun with all that, though, despite it being frustrating at times.
Actually can’t wait to get home to confine but socialising comes first today

Oh yeah, also when there’s really no difference, I add a synonym in WK (it shows up in KW).
For example, there are (until now) two words for Buddhist priest.
One is literally the two kanji voor buddhism and priest. So I added a synonym “literally”. So when it shows up, I know which one they want.
Wait, are you saying the synonym will show up on the review screen? Basically if I made ‘alligator’ a synonym for one of the girls, it’d show up on the screen? Interesting

There’s usually a slight difference in meaning and connotation though. Would you call your classmate in school young lady when talking about them? No, you’d say girl. Would you call the king’s daughter a girl? No, you’d probably rather say young lady. And you probably wouldn’t call a 19-year old girl “little girl” (少女) ^^

I was just checking myanimelist to see which anime i should start next, and decided to try Hyouka. I swear i didn’t expect this, haha.
here’s a little puzzle:
it’s Faculty Office in the subtitles. Guess you could call it staff room too, but since it’s a school, i don’t know what the correct term is
Ah maybe the subtitles aren’t super accurate anyways:
Subtitles say Earth Science Prep Room, which sounds pretty weird in English, WK has 地学 as Geography of course.
And he talks to a girl saying そりゃはお前。。。ああ、失礼[します]。So cute! He’s apologizing for using おまえ.

The “ka” actually is the carrot cake kanji we talked about earlier!

And i pick out so many words from WK vocab too. I really enjoy Hyouka so far, as the dialogue is quite down-to-earth for the most part, but interesting, and there’s so much vocab and grammar i learned.
literally, yes! it seems like you’d say frozen dessert in english… or ice cream.
If you google Hyouka (氷菓) for images, only the anime will come up, haha.
The third episode has pop-up book animation, so cute!
i can’t believe the official mnemonic for 巻く isn’t “Maki = rolled sushi”
Also, i’m glad I finally learned 響く, which i need no mnemonics for and will never forget because of one of my favourite anime: Hibike! Euphonium. (Re)sound! Echo! Euphonium
