身につけるって???

I’m texting a japanese person and they sent me a text with this conjugation for 身につける:身につけるって。

Now from what I understand this wouldn’t be form of this verb because you’d have to remove the る, plus I can’t find the meaning of this conjugation when looking it online. can anyone help?

って is a more casual version of と
(but not every と can be replaced with って)

As Heiopei said, it’s a casual form of と, rather than any sort of verb conjugation. There are other uses for it as well, such as replacing は. Maggie Sensei reviews a number of its uses.
