In general I found it difficult to tell who was speaking!

Tbh this is kind of a perennial issue i have with this series; i don’t think the panelling is particularly direct, so it’s harder to read than i feel it should be sometimes

Looks like pretty standard “draw 3 squiggly blobs for instant map” style of map making to me tbh.

One thing that felt out of character at the end is that Fern doesn’t finish off the demons.

I thought this too. Frieren always finishes people off right away so it seemed a little lazy. But I guess the story must go on.

Oh no, the volume is over! But I wanna read more
