I also feel like she might be evil because she has a mischievous looking avatar, but maybe she’s just charli XCX. The others are also concerned that she might be a bad influence on Tita.

By the way I mentioned in previous threads that I normally manage to ignore how comically underage Tita is for fighting hordes of monsters with a mortar and a gatling gun but this particular arc makes it really difficult to avoid considering that. She goes shopping for teddy bears…

I was just thinking, reading you all talking about this, that if this girl is actually a villain that’s going to be an even funnier, harder suspend your disbelief about child ages moment.

Yeah, if one little girl can travel the world fighting giant robots and monsters with a bazooka, it’s within possibility to have another little girl be a scheming supervillain!

Though I’ve suspected her since her first appearance so it might also be confirmation bias at work. She was trying to rile up Estelle at the time and it seemed calculated to me.

I liked the chat with the ambassador from Jin’s country but it’s the more strict, severe empire that keeps catching my attention. I don’t really know exactly where the coming future games are set, I keep forgetting the order this giant series takes place in and have done next to no research into those games, will be fun surprises. All I know is I’ve heard Crossbell mentioned a lot (Crossbell Arc etc) so my ears perk up every time they mention that place.

Ha, I had exactly the same reaction. The empire seems rather authoritarian, in stark contrast with Olivier’s attitude. Are they the baddies?

One thing that stood out to me as well is that you gain the book when you talk to the librarian because it’s forbidden in the empire and shouldn’t be found in their libraries. That doesn’t seem very nice. Is it supposed to be the USA or something?

At any rate my biggest disappointment was that the embassies didn’t have their own custom music representing both countries. The music in this game is fine, but since almost everything is reused from FC it’s starting to feel a bit tired, I play mostly with sound off and my own music in the background lately.

I do want to leave the capital, I hope this arc won’t last too long. We still haven’t got anything really serious to deal with (a bunch of threatening letters? Yawn. Compared to what we dealt with in Ruan and Zeiss it’s pretty lame).
