just time and practice?
The thing I’ve grown to like about Bunpro is that I can use it reinforce more niche grammar concepts or forms that I’m otherwise unlikely to encounter in my particular day-to-day life.
For example, many grammar forms are more frequent in written, business language, while others might be commonly spoken to a supervisor at work. But because I’m not currently using Japanese in those particular relationships, it’s difficult to find the opportunity to use them or hear them regularly myself.
I do find that if I don’t spend a bit of time with a grammar point before unlocking it in Bunpro, I’m unlikely to remember it by the third or fourth time it appears, but it is very useful to cementing concepts I’ve already learned about. If I use Bunpro to introduce new grammar concepts (like before the JLPT), I just make sure to spend a lot of time with the additional resources they provide before skipping through to the quiz.
For the value it’s provided me, I’d definitely recommend it.
I just started Tobira the other day, I’m enjoying the structure so far, but I wish there were suggested answers for the ‘thinking questions’ at the start of the chapter. Also I can’t do any of the pair work >.>
