休む and its correct answer

Why is the only correct anwser for 休む “to rest” , when “to be absent” is, from my understanding, a meaning that is used at the same frequency or even more often ?
明日は休みます。 I’ll be absent tomorrow.
学校を休んだ。 I was absent from school
明日、朝の仕事は休むつもりです。 I’m taking tomorrow morning off from work.

and so on

Thanks for the reply

You can add your own synonyms. Sometimes WK doesn’t have many or any.

Yeah I know, I was just wondering because sometimes they add like 3-4 synonyms and for some important early vocab like this there is only one meaning which ich mentioned and accepted
