七章 〈星詠みの魔女〉メアリー・ハーヴェイのドキドキ星占い☆
Excellent title. I can already see her being… interesting 
メアリーの向かいの席では、栗色の長い髪を三つ編みにした男、〈結界の魔術師〉ルイス・ミラーが水のようにワインを飲み干していた。
Oh, nice. Been a while since we’ve seen Louis.
大方「その年で、女の子は無理があるのでは」とかなんとか言いかけたのだろう。それでも、その言葉を飲み込む程度に、ルイスはメアリーに気を遣っているようだった。

「いいのよぉ、あんなもの無理に出なくたって。大体いつもルイスちゃんと〈宝玉の魔術師〉が嫌味の応酬してるだけで、〈茨の魔女〉は吞気に野菜食べて、〈砲弾の魔術師〉はいびきかいてるんだから。あと〈深淵の呪術師〉に至っては、出席率がモニカちゃんより低いし」
And we finally complete the “Seven Sages mentioned” collection! At least I think this is the first time that 深淵の呪術師 was mentioned.
I kind of like how the author is rather slow in introducing them.
「今日はね、近くの街でお祭りがあるのよぉ。そこであたくし、魔素解放の魔術奉納をするから、モニカちゃんも見にいらっしゃいな～」
Is it the animal ears harvest festival Isabelle was talking about earlier? Will Monica be able to spontaneously meet Isabelle there after all?
「はぁ、えっと、そのお祭りは、どこで……」
「コールラプトンっていう街よ」
Aww yeah. We’re in business.
「あたくし、国の未来と王族に関する部分を重点的に見ているのだけど……もう一〇年ぐらい前から、フェリクス殿下の運命だけが、読めなくなってしまったのよぉ」
Huh. I wonder if that was about the time Felix fell from a tree and started getting stronger? (I guess we don’t know if that started his trajectory from his past to his current self, but right now “It started when he fell from a tree, shielded Eliott and got offered by him to properly learn how to climb trees” seems like as good a guess as any. He did show a lot of backbone there anyway.)

I might’ve mentioned this before, but I really like the strong personalities and quirks of Rin and Nero.
「古代魔導具の封印って、一級封印結界ですよね。確か、解除がすごく大変な……」
“It would take me at least 2 minutes.”
「古代魔導具が、意思を持つ道具であるというのはご存知で？」
「は、はいっ、人格が宿ってるんです、よね」
現代魔導具と古代魔導具の最大の違いがそれだ。古代魔導具には意識があり、時に使い手を試すこともあるのだとか。
