Finally! Enjoyed this one with lots of little in jokes thrown in for good measure. I especially enjoyed the hair colour page!
If I hadn’t seen this fight as a child on TV, I’d be through the roof with the way this volume ends. A whole volume for this ending?! hahaha
Yeah, it feels like this is the first really epic length battle, setting the standard for what is going to happen over and again in Dragon Ball. I guess it’s not too bad if you are a reading a chapter a month, it’s going to be a long wait for us now to get to the end of this battle!
I felt this volume lost some of its magic compared to previous ones. Perhaps it was the lack of story compared to the older volumes. I also felt there was less of the fun asides and in jokes than we’ve seen previously.
