Multiple races exist in Dungeon Meshi. The five major races are Tallmen/人間トールマン (baseline humans), Half-foot/ハーフ フット (Halflings), Dwarves, Gnomes and Elves, but a few other species also exist which we won’t get into here.

Party:
Laios - ライオス - tallman warrior

Falin - ファリン - tallman priest (well, wizard, technically)

Marcille - マルシル - elf wizard

Chilchuck - チルチャック - halffoot thief

Senshi - センシ - dwarf warrior/chef

鎧? Does 鎧 show up in this chapter once or twice? Surely not 鎧?

Sir we just read 鋼の錬金術師 where one of the main characters is a literal piece of armor. We are ready for this.

Yeah but i read meshi 1 like in January

I know that 得る can be read える or うる but I always thought that 有り得る was idiomatically ありえる. However on page 151 we have ありうる and now I’m confused.

Am I mistaken in my belief that ありえる is much more common?

from 10ten which uses jisho definitions…the difference between an “expression” and a “verb” sounds unclear to me though
