Fun chapter! Was nice with to discover how Maricelle and Laios met.
Then when we got back to present time, I was a bit confused because I had completely forgotten where we left off. Something with the 7 sins? don’t remember what dead horsey is doing here, but I’ll just go with the flow. It’s still funny.
I also spent most of the chapter trying to remember where we left off and why Raios was wounded, only to realize that we weren’t supposed to know. I definitely enjoy the backstories of the main team over the geopolitical chapters… I also didn’t think Marcille was that old.
Loved this chapter! A lot of tension in the air with the monster of the day. Which was a fun one (I’d love to see what comes up for me). And also backstory for イヅツミ and nice to see them reflect on their role in the group.
But damn, a cliffhanger!
I was half expecting マルシル’s succubus to turn into ファリン, but I guess it is entirely platonic after all. What we got was even funnier honestly, I don’t blame チルチャック, I also would’ve floundered if that showed up
I found it fun that the larvae look so much like real mosquito larvae.
I am really curious to know whose succubus was Laios’s, hopefully we get it next chapter
Perhaps there’s emphasis here on the 加工 - they 加工 it instead of taking it straight. Like, the process removes the itchiness but leaves the 快楽 parts. Though, drinks? I thought eating monster parts was supposed to be morally abhorrent.
Yeah the itch comes from the inflammation caused by the biting, you probably wouldn’t get that otherwise.
That’s more like a secretion I guess? Also I suppose it’s similar to how a lot of weird animal byproducts are used in cosmetics even though you would consider them repulsive to eat. Ingredients sourced from bugs, sharks, animal hooves, fish scales, even snails, not to mention things like musk and ambergris!
