ゼノギアス // Week 19 // Chapter 33 & 34
Ending Point
Save on the Yggdrasil after talking to Billy but do not head to the Transport Ship/輸送船. You will be in control of Billy.
Gameplay
Gameplay notes
- It’s been a while since we’ve seen some of our party, so don’t forget to check equipment
- You can change party members by talking to Margie/Maru
- You can go to Nisan again if you didn’t pick up that OP equipment and wanted to grab it now that we have Elly in the party. Elly + Ether Doubler + Aerods = Easy Mode, for those who hate gear battles.
- Optional: you can also visit the east dot to visit an Orphanage before going to the church HQ. We’ll be going here later, so it’s mostly extra dialog/picking up items early. You can nap here too to restore HP/EP.
- Yggdrasil offers free gear HP/Fuel repairs (not EP) by just heading into the bridge, if you wanted to grind before heading to the church
- You can check out a few other locations as well, but nothing we can do there yet. If you go to the Tower beware the flash when you approach
- Consider talking stocking up on the Yggdrasil, especially ammo before next week
Unique Missables
At the Orphanage::
- tell the kid in the loft you’ll keep the secret to get Book 1 Fun Picture Book/楽しい絵本
- keep bothering the kid in the bathroom (rude!) for Book 2 Old Comic Book/ボロボロのマンガ. you get what you deserve
- Show the boy in the room next to the bathroom the Bell Amulet. Note that Rico must be in the part for this. There is some different/interesting dialog if you first talk to him without Rico though. Get Book 3/『教会』の教え.
- After visiting the church, now that Billy is there you can talk to the bird kid to herd three chickens for the Tag Badge/おにごっこバッジ!
"FMVs”

Discussion Guidelines
Everybody should feel free to post and ask questions–it’s what makes book clubs fun! But please do not post until you are familiar with Spoiler Courtesy!
Spoiler Courtesy
Please follow these rules to avoid inadvertent ネタバレ. If you’re unsure whether something should have a spoiler tag, err on the side of using one.
- Any potential spoiler for the current week’s reading need only be covered by a spoiler tag. Predictions and conjecture made by somebody who has not read ahead still falls into this category.
- Any potential spoilers for external sources need to be covered by a spoiler tag and include a label (outside of the spoiler tag) of what might be spoiled. These include but are not limited to: other book club picks, other books, games, movies, anime, etc. I recommend also tagging the severity of the spoiler (for example, I may still look at minor spoilers for something that I don’t intend to read soon).
- Avoid posting any information from later in the game than the current week’s reading. If it is necessary to doing so, it needs to be hidden by spoiler tags and labeled as coming from later sections.
Instructions for Spoiler Tags
Click the cog above the text box and use either the “Hide Details” or “Blur Spoiler” options. The text which says “This text will be hidden” should be replaced with what you are wishing to write. In the case of “Hide Details”, the section in the brackets that is labelled “Summary” can be replaced with whatever you like also (i.e, [details=”Chapter 1”]).

- The description in the items menu for the books

- Yes, in English the books in the items menu were just “Book 1” etc, presumably due to character limits
