That’s right. The たら conditional is created by attaching ら to the past tense of a verb or adjective. In this case, the adjective 寝たい (want to sleep).
寝る => to sleep
寝たい => want to sleep.
寝たかったら => if / when you want to sleep…
My understanding is that this is simply “ラム, darkness is scary”. If you elaborate on what part you find confusing here I can try to clarify…

It’s effectively ラムは with the は dropped. Also note, her name is ラム, not ラマ.

Interesting, I’m not sure I’ve ever seen 続く as “to lead to; to connect to; to adjoin”.
Kate mentions there are thing(s) she wants to do here. And she says she’ll tell Emilico her secrets after The Debut (I can’t remember if this is its official localized name). We discussed before that there are differences between the end of the first season of the anime and the manga, and we’re coming up against where the first season of the anime ended soon. I’m excited to see what those differences are. Although I’m unlikely to remember exactly what was different about the anime, since the first season was so long ago.
Maybe I’ll binge rewatch the first season this weekend 
Finally finished this volume.
I certainly enjoyed these last two chapters. A little tension in the air, but I think it ended on a pretty nice note. Though that last part with Kate saying (I think) “I’ll (say) all my secrets” sounds a little sinister perhaps lol.
So I definitely look forward to seeing what happens in the next volume, which I’ll start as soon as possible.

I found this volume tricky to a certain point, then suddenly I just got it, and was able to read to the end really quickly.
yeah but i’ve been on vacation i japan for a month and haven’t done any reading hahaha i have to go back and reread ch 22…because i don’t remember what happened … and im trying to this now in the loudest airport lounge ever…take your screaming kids outta here!! Shees no joke there are 4 of them … like wth

I was trying to read in a short flight this afternoon, but too many people talking and my headphones were in my bag overhead. So I joined the talking people and chatted to the guy next to me instead.
I can get caught up more on the plane … hopefully …

I decided to splurge on the tix long before Japan reopened…it wasn’t too expensive then…compared with all the extra luggage fees and headaches… now I’m greatful I did it…but now I’ve been spoiled… Japan trips will be expensive haha

Oh, okay, if the dolls are indeed made alive from a core of soot, that explains a lot. I guess they become a face by being remotely controlled then. I guess the ceremony will be about showing you can do it, so practicing that ability already is a good way to hit the ground running.
At the same time, it also means that it’s going to be rough to set up a revolution, sad.
I wonder if the soot in all the dolls come from the Honorable Gramps, or if they use the one from the respective Shadow Person (makes more sense), or a mix of both.
Also, I know see why you’d get a bit cray cray from swallowing evil soot 
Edit: maybe they are normal human partially controlled by soot? Nightmare fuel.
Not sure why the extra soot is affected by water but not their “core” then? I guess I’m missing too much info at this point. (Maybe they just reapply it or something)
