I’m glad everything is coming out in the open. Could all the bad child administrators really have just been incompetence from the higher ups making the staffing decisions? I can believe it.
It’s harder to believe there’s nothing more Joseph could have done to prevent things from getting this bad. We’re the Big 3 Guardians there from the beginning? If not, maybe he could have taken action before they matured.
He said there is always at least 2 of them guarding Shadow Grandpa, but I recall a chapter where two of them went to town to get more kids. Maybe he counts as one of the two there.
I also can’t believe we still don’t know what’s up with Shadow Grandpa! He was already there when Joseph woke up? Come on
I’m also surprised it hasn’t come up where the coffee came from, especially since he brought up the coffee in this week’s chapter.
It’s also still not clear to me why Joseph stayed in control instead of the morph that fused with him. Maybe they’ll go into that more later.
Them intentionally promoting someone who is “safely” incompetent is hilarious though. I enjoyed the summary at the end of the changing administrators.
Somehow the idea that Kate could potentially uncover her face never occurred to me, but it makes a lot of sense! I can totally picture this happening near or at the end of the series.
I was wondering how faceless dolls were supposed to restrain an adult shadow. I guess they relied on the honor system up until now
I was frustrated though. Anthony has been this untouchable mastermind up until now, and I thought they were finally going to be able to turn things around on him. I can’t wait until he finally gets his!
Good on Bell for not letting Anthony manipulate her! I thought she was a goner though. This is one of the few times we’ve seen things not go Anthony’s way, which is funny since I just mentioned I wanted to see that last week.
Although he still managed to escape a many versus situation. And he tossed Benjamin around like a ragdoll. That was surprising. He’s basically a secret agent like James Bond or Ethan Hunt! Except he’s a bad guy.
She’s finally back! I was initially disappointed with the change in setting for this chapter, but it got more interesting towards the end. Edward gaining more respect for humans is also big.
I’m interested to see what level of information sharing, if any, there’s been between her and the rebels. Do they know how dangerous Anthony is at this point?
I wondered going in if we’d discover Edward was actually a good guy, and the only reason he was trying to stop Kate is because maybe he thought she was working with Anthony/Christopher. Instead, it looks like we’re on track to find out which side Rosemary and Maryrose are on.
From what we’ve seen of Edward’s behavior in the past, it’s hard to imagine him having been a good guy the whole time. Even before having any specific beef with them, he was trying to get at least some of Kate’s group killed during the お披露目. I’m seeing it more as him spending time with humans, and that making him more sympathetic to them.
Although that does bring up the question of why that hasn’t happened to other shadows who left the mansion in the past. Maybe from that perspective, he was more of a good guy than the others, in that he had the potential to change sides.
I think we already know that Rosemary was opposed to Anthony. I think I remember her talking about not liking his methods, and him talking about being disappointed in her not being willing to do what needs to be done (in his opinion).
Ed and his crew are getting the lore dump. I want to know why Mary Rose got so much stronger. She took on the three of them and won, when just Edward beat her before.
