Maaaannnnn I really want to say yes to an offshoot but I don’t know if I can juggle both right now. ![]()
I’ll participate, I already got the other two books. Of course, it’ll be taking a back seat to the other club once it gets started.
beens soup…
The penultimate week is here:
I plan to continue the series, but not right now. I already have too many things to read and since it’s only 3 volumes long, I want to get the physical manga and not digitally at some point.
I had a long plane ride and ended up finishing the first one and most of the second during it. There are only three volumes so it’s going to be easy to finish it on my own!
I finished the volume today. I was really surprised at the end… I hadn’t been planning on continuing, but I got so curious about the ending that I looked at the listing for the next volume…
Which luckily had the first-ish chapter. I wasn’t impressed by it, but if you want to resolve the cliffhanger, I think it’s a satisfactory enough answer.
Overall, I’d say the first volume is cute, but doesn’t draw me enough to continue.
The final week for soup:
After considering, I’ve decided not to continue hosting the remaining volumes. I’m hardly on the forums these days, and in my experience seven people don’t create enough buzz to remind me to check back every week. If you do read the remaining volumes you’re welcome to post about them on this thread.
Thank you again for hosting this book club and for introducing us to this cute character and manga
they shall forever live in my heart ![]()
Here’s a Sakura for all the effort you put into this club ![]()
@hotdogsuplex Thank you for hosting! I’m glad to have read Kesaran, even if I don’t plan to continue it. It was a nice pick me up at the end of my workweek.
