ゆるキャン△ Vol. 4 🏕

I have to say these へやキャン sections probably take me more than twice as long to get through as a normal chapter. It’s pretty rewarding when you fight through it and manage to get the jokes! I thought the たこさんウインナー one was a particularly tough grammatical challenge- it probably took me three reads just to figure out what the heck their discussion was about! But it was pretty funny- it reminded me of the dumb pedantic arguments that I sometimes have too much fun with.

Probably because they’re 4-koma. We’ve found that on manga reads in the past, even though they don’t look that much denser than free-form panel manga, they generally take a lot longer to read.

page 75: I like how the yojijukugo got verb-ified.

I was going to change my avatar to it for a bit, but cleaning up the speech bubble was too much of a pain

I finally got hold of volume 4 and 5 this week, and I’ve been catching up~

p.89, Aoi says,「今日はクリスマスちゅー事で」
Does the ちゅー here mean 中 ?

Also, thanks so much for continuing the vocab sheet, really helps a lot! I love the entry for ウマ in ch. 20-- made me laugh real hard :joy:
