This makes four fully Japanese manga volumes finished! <3
I hope you’re all continuing to enjoy the story.
I really do think this is series is such a great choice for a beginners first manga. Of course there are challenges with colloquialisms and casual speech. But the meta-ness of the characters dealing with misunderstanding language and learning language and how to communicate well makes it connect all the more for me at least!
Anyone else still going? I’m on the second chapter of Volume 5 now 
It’s been a while but I finished vol. 5 and started up vol 6 right away!
The other night I wanted to see how my comprehension was going, so I wrote out my understandings/translations on a page sort of like:
pg. 128: Yuki: “I wonder if Itsuomi likes sweets?”
pg. 129: Yuki: “Where do you take someone who travels the world?”
Rin: “Instead of thinking about where Itsuomi wants to go, just think about where you like to go and share it with Itsuomi”
etc…
I then had my wife follow along in the official English translation while I read my paper out loud… I’d say for the most part I’m capturing 80-90% of what I’m reading while some of the more challenging conversations are still missing either nuance or full on meaning for me.
Hope y’all are continuing to enjoy your reading in whatever you’re focusing on!
I’m thankful for the group giving me the initial push to start reading and this has been a good series to keep going with!

Hope it’s not annoying everyone to keep updating this old thread but I finished vol 6! The DRAMA oh the drama!
Moving on to vol. 7.
I think my goal is to finish the series (as much as are released) before moving on to another one.
