New character this week, though the name is probably fairly aparent - お嬢さま、よ
Nako is being particularly mean this week…
I idly pondered whether Bocchi’s pay on page 15 is reasonable, so I turned to Google. A packet of 500 sheets of plain assorted-colours origami paper goes for 535 yen on Amazon, and to make 1000 paper cranes, you’d need two of them. And that’s not even factoring in labour costs. Even if the paper is free, to earn 百億円 at that rate, she’d have to make 20 billion paper cranes; if she could make one paper crane per second, all day long without a single break, it would take 634.2 years. At the 1000 cranes-per-day rate she’s established, it’d take 54,795 years.

Both good chapters this week. Also, got some more complex grammar in the second chapter, my favorite being 寂しゅうございます.

First chapter was fine. Second was good.
I spent a minute trying to figure out what ロパク was, but turns out it was 口パク. How did I not realize!

I remember having the same issue with that one. Whose bright idea was it to have a kanji and a kana so close in appearance?

Surely they wouldn’t make that mistake twice, right?

Did anyone else find the second chapter this week more difficult than usual to follow? I couldn’t tell if it was the book or my brain, but something wasn’t clicking. Like Why would Tsugi-chan be mouth syncing at Bocchi?

This week’s first chapter marks the last of the chapters that have been adapted for the anime. So far?
Also, two new characters - 泣かないからね (she shall be dearly missed), and 可愛いの (元ね)
