I’d kinda prefer if noone read that one at all.
But !
Just sharing here the link @cpage shared with us on discord after the reading last week.
Great reading session again today, thanks everyone who joined in.
We’ll go again next week Sunday 14th June at 13:00 UTC, that is in your time zone: 2020-06-14T13:00:00Z
We are going to go back to the section we’re just finishing up and read the following chapters:
Pages 133-136: Light speed
Pages 137-139: X-rays
Pages 140-150: Marie Curie
Please feel free to nominate a section you would like to read so you have the opportunity to practice in advance. We’ve generally split up the chapters to allow everyone a chance to read - we will definitely be splitting the Marie Curie chapter!
I’m requesting the beginning of Marie Curie chapter, pp.140-141. I love this woman. I’ve read a biography written by her daughter Eve, her life story is truly fascinating.
I’ll take 142-143 of the Marie Curie Chapter, I really love the dialogue.
I’ll have to see how I go, I won’t nominate a section since if tomorrow’s anything like tonight I unfortunately won’t be able to take part!
I’ll do the light speed chapter. @IgorTheGreat can you change the thread title to say we are on part 5 please?
Edit done. (I know I’m not Igor)
I’ll volunteer for pp 144-145 of Marie Curie.
I Igor, you Igor, he she me…Igor
Live reading today 2020-06-14T13:00:00Z. See you there!
I’ll try to jump in. If I’m free near the start I wouldn’t mind reading a short bit then in case I need to go!
Next week’s live reading session is: 2020-06-21T13:00:00Z
We’re heading back to some of the earlier chapters again: it’s pages 34-52 in the new editions (that’s 17 pages of text).
It includes the following chapters:
Snot
Dental cavities
Suntans

Cats
As ever feel free to nominate a section you’d like to read in advance. If there’s lots of people there we’ll split the chapters up so everyone gets a chance to read who wants to. If you just want to listen in without reading you are very welcome too.
I’d like to read the first half of Cats chapter (p.50 and half of page 51), the pictures are so cute.
I’ll take suntans
I volunteer to read the chapter on Snot (pp 34-36).
I can do dental caries (some or all of).
I can read the second half of cats
