Now it’s my turn to be behind…I’ll have time to catch up after Christmas, but right now I have to pack my stuff!

Yes yes yes!!
I’m so glad that someone thought a Llama Mambo was needed

(The ninth ending is in my suggested YouTube vids, and looks like it’s based on Sloth… appropriately named “Largo”
)
Christmas can wait, there’s cute animals to watch!
I’m massively behind the schedule, but here goes.
Ep. 27
Shirokuma is the sneakiest baseball player!

The new OP is nice isn’t it? ^>^
Also, Panda-mama’s ED is great!

Ep. 28
I wanna see when Penguin-san sits on his chair!

Ep 29
Panda-kun the best-worst car dealer ever! XD
Also, the secretary calls him Panda-kun-sama!
Ep 30
Penguin-san dressed as King Penguin chick is too funny!
And Shirokuma-kun constantly changing his Halloween costume!
BTW: what was Ant-eater offering them, besides ants? He says something about there being white ones as well.
Ep 31
Poor Penguin-san.
Well, maybe this is for the best…
Also, Yama Arashi is a great band name!
I just adore MoriMori as Panda-mama, he’s the best middle-aged Panda-mom ever!
Also, new ED, Llamambo!

Ep 32
Shirokuma-has a surprising number of dark secrets…hidden away in that huge garden.
Also: Pengingers!

I’m not sure I’d watch that, but certainly a show about cyber-punk Polar bear!
Ep 33
Stoikovitch!
This is truly a family full of surprises!
Episode 34
Shirokuma-kun again flaunts his mad baking skillz! XD
I love how this show let’s you get closer to the various animals, not just the main cast!
BFs 4-eva! <3<3<3
New vocab: 羆 ~ ひぐま ~ brown bear
It’s great how the show can get you so invested in the side characters, wolf and tiger’s bro-alliance was one of my favourite moments so far!
Episode 35
I’m rooting for Handa-san!
^>^
Episode 36
Poor Grizzly-kun.
With friends like Shirokuma-kun, who needs enemies! XD
New vocab: 冬眠 ~ とうみん ~ hibernation
Shirokuma Café is like pringles, once I start I can’t stop! XD
On next week’s watch-schedule…

Summary
I guess it’s no surprise that the episode after the Christmas themed one, is going to be New Year’s themed. This episode has a bit of reminiscing, tying the story together thus far.
Episode 19
I wanna know what happened to Masaki lol
Episode 20
I love Grizzly’s enthusiastic yakisoba making. It even sounded like he was saying “Ora” lol. It might’ve been a JoJo reference actually…
Got me to look up ほら ~ look!; look out!; hey!; look at me!; there you are!
Very unfortunate in Swedish!
Also, I love Masaki! <3<3<3
Yeah, but if we look at it in context, the frenzied swiping Grizzly was doing is pretty similar to the barrage of punches that Star Platinum does in JoJo.
Episode 21
The pretending to be other animals just gets more and more disturbing…
I don’t want to watch more episodes with teens fawning over adults
Episode 22
Panda being unable to tell penguins apart cracks me up. I feel like it also implies that he can’t read lol. The baby penguins are always cute.
As a faceblind person, I have some sympathy for Penguin not being able to tell the Penkos apart, but I can at least tell people apart when I see them side by side lol.
The Penkos need to dump Penguin or stop messing with him…
Episode 23
kawaisouna handakun
… I don’t like the moms
Episode 24
Hey it’s Masaki!
Episode 25
I’m loving Penguin’s spoofs of famous art pieces
Grizzly is the best character in this show
They’re so cute as kiddos
Shirokuma is such a little shit lol. “This is my brother.” Cuties making stew together
Episode 26
I love Shirokuma’s hot dog octopus
I’m going to use the first half of this episode as proof that 可愛そう doesn’t have to mean only “pitiful,” but can also mean cute. Quite possibly a certain kind of cute, but clearly not just “sad/pitiful.”
I appreciate the real life style language used in the show
I’m loving ringing in the New Year of the tiger by watching Tiger show off pics of his kids and meet up with friends.
Damn, “You’re not supposed to find yourself, you’re supposed to choose yourself.” What a fantastic quote from Grizzly.
omfg Shirokuma as a rapper… oh I love this. This might be my favorite episode
Episode 27
Thank god, a new op. Maybe I won’t go insane. Not a super big fan of the singer though.
I love Grizzly’s burning passion. 炎上炎上! Red panda is so cute in this! deep sigh the predators have their shit together while the herbivores don’t
The red squirrels are so excited to poop coffee beans
Oh, Ichiro is a famous and popular player.
Episode 28
Ah, people with a suspicious appearance getting stopped and questioned by the police…
Full time Panda’s use of atashi is interesting.
Episode 29
I feel very done with Panda.
Poor Penguin.
Mystery solved!
To me it was just a random name. ^^;
Ahh. Yeah I think he might be the most popular currently? I had to look him up last month and recall reading something along those lines
Episode 39 thoughts:
More new years celebrations. Now with a hidden talents contest!
I’m defo stealing Handa-san’s trick! XD
Gotta love poor Llama-san!
Also, finally the ultimate battle takes place!
BTW, what’s this thing called, that Grizzly use to entertain the others??
Second part:
Penguin-san ~ Tai chi master!
Well, I’m not too fond of the over-cutsey new OP and ED. Just not my cup of Coffee Mocha! ^^;
Well, I’m gonna get tucked in with the next weeks episodes now! ^>^ v
I’m using DOUBLE SPOILER-tags so that if you’re curious you can read the more general comment and my questions about language, but something that’s an actual revelation about the characters or how the episodes end are blurred.

Summary
This is such a feel-good show!
I feel more calm and at peace already from watching this.
Also, Panda Mama making an appearance is always nice!
Question: What is Panda-kun saying? "that it’s not called hibernation, but…? sounds like it starts with winter (fuyu) but then ???
Anyway, I just can’t figure out how Morikawa-san is this good at playing an older woman. It brings a huge smile on my face!

Summary
This show teach us about several Japanese traditions, tanabata
new years, and now 豆まき ~ まめまき ~ scattering parched beans (to drive out evil spirits)
I just HAD to see if there was something online and there was this fabulous vid that starts off safely enough, then…XD
We’ve also reached the apex of this Shirokuma-kun’s puns!

But, what is it they say at the end? クワァチー?
Lastly we get some reminiscing between Llama-san and Sasako-san who apparently grew up in the same place!
Episode 42 thoughs
Summary
Rather than saying 目覚めた, Shirokuma-kun says 目が冴えた ?? (is this correct?). I wonder about the nuance difference here?
Also, オルゴール (music box) is such an interesting word…I wonder how that came to be, or is it as simple as All guru-guru but simplified (as in spinning (guru-guru) all (around??)). Don’t ask me about how I came up with that! XD
I also think Panda-kun tells Grizzly that he’s surprisingly 乙女シック = おとめシック = female chic - because of the music box and all!
I bet DIO-berry will like the second part of this episode! ^>^
Doesn’t matter what sort of day I’ve had watching this show always makes everything better, it’s so wholesome and happy-filling!
I really don’t know who’s my favourite anymore, Grizzly is great but Llama is also great.
Got up to ep.41 last night:
Episode 41
The kani-wani is certainly the apex of Shurokuma’s puns
The last one? (the grey-spikey thing?)
That was うに [海胆] : sea urchin.
Sorry if you knew this and meant what he said after the puns, I don’t remember
Also, that video of the bean-throwing is absolute chaos
Ah, I wasn’t confused by the final pun Shirokuma did, but rather, what they say when throwing beans. First they throw the beans at the oni saying “Oni wa soto”, at the very end though, they turned around, and threw beans inside instead saying this other thing. kuwaaachi??? I couldn’t find any clues on Jisho. But, I take it’s a set phrase of some kind.
Ahhh that, sorry for the mixup.
But yeah it’s a set phrase as part of the custom, together it’s:
鬼は外! 福は内! 「おにはそと!ふくはうち!」- Devils outside! Fortune inside!
