When I was child, I thought that our family was poor because we lived in a small house and rarely bought things like electronics or new clothes. However, then I went to college, and I didn’t have to take out any loans. In the end I realized that my parents were just very good at saving money. I’m really grateful to them for that.
No, since I’m a university student, I am not rich. But, at the end of third year, I did an internship for 16 months and earned money, so I do not have student debt. Because of that, I have money and investments in the bank.
Do people use 工場実習 or インターンシップ to refer to internships? The latter is the first result on jisho.org when you look up “internship”.
I really think it’s really a difficult question, so difficult that I had to google for it. I don’t even know what this fish name in English. I only know its name in my native language all this time. Specific names in foods and medicine terms, for example, are often challenging to me. But this wikipedia helps.
