This is my first time posting! I just started learning and have been trying to make my way through a grammar book, are my particles and conjugation correct here?

Yes, your particles and conjugation are correct! I added 会いに to mean Momonchan went to ‘see/meet’ her mom. You can say ももんちゃんはお母さんのところに行った or ももんちゃんはお母さんに会いに行ったbut you can’t say ももんちゃんはお母さんに行った.
You weren’t so off! ももちゃんのように was correct, and you could say 強くなりたい after that.

ももんちゃんのお母さんは、「背が高い（せがたかい）=tall」ですよね。
In Japanese, when talking about someone’s height, you almost always specify that it’s about someone’s height by adding 背が, unless it’s really obvious like someone already mentioned 背が高い and you’re showing agreement.
