Ideally I’d love for us to have the profile pictures instead of the names in that table (so much better visually), but I don’t see an easy way to do it. Oh well. We tried.

Actually, I was hoping there would be a way to use something simple like @omk3 and make it display that person’s profile pic instead of username. We could of course also just use our pics directly, but that’s extremely fiddly and it’s crazy to ask everyone to do that. But wouldn’t evenly sized little nice profile pics look so much better than a boring list of user names? If only we could have a small poll…

You could do something like is suggested in this guide. Basically you would create a reference to the uploaded image and then just copy/paste that reference in the table, so there’s no long strings of URLs everywhere. I was able to set it up successfully on Natively.

The reference code at the bottom stays hidden for the average user, so it’s a bit tidier than gluing everything into the table itself. You can do the same for text links, but at that point I was ending up with more reference than table, so I left those be.

That’s very interesting, thanks! In fact I’m bookmarking it for possible future use. But in our case, where everyone is supposed to be able to add their names (or pics in this case) themselves, I don’t know if it would work well. There’s still much more work involved for adding every new reader than just ticking a box or quickly editing a wiki. 
(but the result would be so much nicer)
(Also can I just say that you did a great job there with the nominations. I’d love for the covers to be added to the nomination lists on WK book clubs too. It would save me so much work when it’s time to vote, as I often remember the book by the cover but not by the title.)

I was thinking each new reader would just add a new reference to themselves at the bottom of the table, then they can copy/paste that image reference in the table itself. It’s not intuitive, granted; you kinda have to know how things are interacting…

Yes, that’s where I think the problem lies. I’d certainly be willing to do it, but would everyone? We also have to account for future readers who might want to add their names years from now, and the more complicated we make things, the more likely it is that they won’t bother, or that they’ll just break the table somehow.

I did my best! It’s still chaos, but much more manageable, I think.
All links are listed as variables below, so that they don’t clutter the table. Unfortunately I couldn’t add the link to the profile pic - no idea why, but it wouldn’t work. I can try again tomorrow, but to be honest I like the relative simplicity of it now.
Let me know what you think and how it can improve.
I intentionally didn’t add anyone else’s pic so we can try and see if it’s actually useable or confusing.

Seemed easy enough to me! Great team work in creating such a fantastic solution in the end 
While in there I went ahead and added 正欲 which I started reading awhile back but it was a bit hard to just…casually read inbetween other books But I found out from a friend that is is indeed about someone who is sexually attracted to water so that seems like a good fit for ‘profoundly weird’
