I just typed “bad hobby” for 悪趣味 (“bad habit”) and it took it
Apparently “natural” is close enough to “material” to be counted as correct.
It’s close enough to “to tell” - only two letters difference - though I wonder if that should be blacklisted. “To help” is 手伝う.
You’re right… Now I wish the WK spellcheck was a hacking tool in Fallout IV.
“Don’t worry officer, it’s medicinal”
And here we have the rare “not a single letter matches, but we know what you meant”!
(I actually tried to type bulky, which is wrong so I corrected it)
I think I made this exact mistake once! It is definitely off syntactically, (semantically? Does letter order have to do with either of those??) but it still gets accepted!
Answered this knowing it was wrong with the intent of getting it wrong because I could not remember the correct answer.
At least it wasn’t a burn.
Spellingly?
Just had this today! Went to type “colored carp” and typed “colored crap” instead.
It marked it right!
I’m just grateful that apparently WK recognizes transpositions.
@RachelG could you bring this up at the next blacklist meeting?or however you decide to blacklist things
