I misread 暮 (livelihood) and thought it’s 墓 (grave). And since 暮らす is a verb, I entered “to grave”. But the actual meaning is “to live”.

Is that what they call a “grave mistake” ?

I’ve added it to the block list now, thanks!

Early on I wrote “katakana” instead of “katana” because I had been writing “katakana” a lot at the time and muscle memory kicked in. That’s when I learned that wanikani will allow answers that are close enough

Wouldn’t call it bad, just funny, but while I was typing the meaning for 再来月, I first wrote next month and then thought: no, its the month after… went back and ended up typing “month after month” without even realising, and wanikani accepted it as correct

This one seems mildly problematic since it’s supposed to be reconsideration

I was typing on my tablet in a hurry this morning and hit Enter instead of Backspace.

Luckily, WK accepted “Piblic Ore” for “Public Order”.
Phew!

Typed this due to muscle memory, I guess, but I’m glad it got accepted.

Is this an acceptable definition, would it ever be used to mean temporarily?

So, I uh… typo’d dictator as dictactor, but apparently that was close enough to “director” to get accepted. XD

Maybe “complete” should be on the block list for this one? I had 完全 in mind when I answered. @Mods

Not sure if this should be accepted as correct.
I first typed “to attack” and it gave me a hint that I was close.

I had these meanings in mind:
(intransitive) To move forward quickly and forcefully, particularly in combat and/or on horseback.
(military, transitive and intransitive) To attack by moving forward quickly in a group.

A pic my friend sent me; I have no clue what it was trying to compare it to. the listed answers are to raise, to develop, to cultivate, and to foster, so…
