Thanks for sharing this! I’ll add “to incite” to the blocklist for this item.
It took me until learning vocab containing the 競 kanji to realize that the 競 is the kanji for COMPETE and not COMPLETE. I never realized my typo because it marked it as correct and I never bothered double checking my answer, even when warned that my “answer is off”. @Mods
Thanks for the ping! I’ll get this added to the block list now.
I’ve advanced the review before I thought about making a screenshot, but
Kanji 潔 accepts “purple”, which definitely shouldn’t occur. (most likely due to “pure”+pl counting as acceptable amount of mistyping)
@Mods
Thanks! Added to the block list.
汗臭い accepts just “sweaty” for meaning (instead of sweaty-smelling)
That answer should probably be added to the blocklist.
Edit: also 主催 (sponsorship) accepts sponsor, and probably shouldn’t.
We’ll take a look at these two. We do have both “sweaty” and “sponsor” as an alternate meaning for each.
“Subjective” was accepted as an answer for 客観的… Should probably get that fixed.
@Mods one for the blocklist
it also accepted ‘to attach’ for 襲う which i don’t see many people mixing up? but thought i’d mention it anyway
@ssotoen @nyxqueenofshadows @FireSide_01
Thanks for the pings!! I have made updates to all of the mentioned subjects:
教わる (10) - Added “to teach” and “to teach something” to the block list.
客観的 (27) - Added “subjective” to the block list.
襲う (43) - Added “to attach” to the block list.
-Nick at WK
“village” for 村人 as I forgot to type the “r” before pressing enter.
Don’t know if it should be in the block list but probably.
Thanks for the feedback! I’ve added these to the block list.
“To Replace” is actually on our allow list as 替わる isn’t as clear cut as other verbs and could be translated as either “to be replaced” or “to replace” depending on the sentence.
I mildly blanked on this one, and made a guess based on the kanji. XD
I guess a ‘school term’ is, indeed, ‘school time’ lol
Today, I typed “Under the bass” instead of “Under the bed” for ベッドの下 and it was accepted, even though the meanings are completely different lol (unfortunately, I don’t have a screenshot, tho), I personally don’t think this should be accepted as there is a big difference between putting something under the bed vs. putting it under the bass.
Alright, I managed to make a screenshot of it. I also got some other interesting stuff when playing around a bit…
What do you think about these?
Am I supposed to ping the mods? @Mods
