Where to practice text-based conversation?

I only have two end goals for my Japanese language study. One of them is to be able to read and write electronic messages (text, email, etc) easily.

Where would you recommend going to practice text-based conversation?

A plus would be to be able to do so with a tutor who can correct me, although chatting with non-tutors has its own benefits (e.g. making friends with people in Japan, etc). Cost is irrelevant.

Maybe a combination of HelloTalk and iTalki?

There is a Discord server called “English-Japanese Language Exchange” that’s quite good for all levels. People there are super helpful and there are many native Japanese speakers trying to learn English too.
