I’ve just levelled up to 6 and noticed something about vocab based on 何 (nan).
何日 - what day, which day, how many days
何年 - what year, how many years
何月 - what month, which month
The 何月 vocab doesn’t have ‘how many months’ as an alternative meaning and I keep wanting to use that meaning. Is this just an oversight in Wanikani (and I can add it as a user synonym) or does it really never have that meaning?
For number of months the counter is か月, also written ヶ月 (かげつ), so “how many months” would be 何か月. It’s different than the pattern for days, months and years, but you’ll just have to accept it
