Do people without a wanikani account have to sign up to view any material on these forums? (Public, non-archived topics)
Yes. At some point the WaniKani and Japanese Language categories will be readable to the public, with the exception of a small group of sub categories which will be set to private.

Is there a way to look at our Wanikani progression from the forums?
I’d like to check out other people’s apprentice/guru/master items without having to go back to Wanikani.
It seems like everything related to the forums stays in the forums.
Quite coincidentally, I’ve been learning how to hack Discourse as part of a new work project. There are lots of cool plugins and integrations for the team to look at - would be happy to help out if there’s interest!

Finally, after about 5 hours of being unable to log in… my emails have been noticed, and Viet has worked his magic and I am allowed in. Also, this is freaking me out that everything I type is on the bottom of my screen twice. Seriously why is this happening again? Weird preview or something??? FREAKY.
