Cute story. I don’t know why the two random deaths were needed exactly, but it’s Mimei, so I would have been more surprised if no one died at all. So, was the star the same person as Santa and the bird seller, or was that the face of kindness or something, in a more abstract way? In any case, a drunken star is a funny image. I’ll be keeping an eye out for star hats that may have fallen down from now on.
