You’re right, I just didn’t want to add ‘the girl’ into the sentence since she doesn’t feature in the Japanese sentence. The problem with active and passive voice from japanese → english as well as transitive and intransitive verbs is that it’s not a perfect match. Verbs that are transitive in one language are not transitive in the other language, and so on.
“[The girl] puts the dog in the cage” is probably the best choice, I was just writing the post kind of fast

So my gut feeling on this one is that the と here is this one which basically means ‘and’
I’m not sure it being っと versus と has a grammatical function, I’m interpreting more as showing how she’s saying it, like there’s a tiny pause between 行こう and と
‘I’m going to my job, so… (you’ll stay here in my room I guess)’ is how I read it.
Anyone else have other ideas?
I guess this is totally a grammar thing, so I won’t spoiler but:
I think there’s an omitted / implied verb here? like you’ll often say things like Xと言う or Xと思う for “‘X’, I said” or “I think X”. Since she previously said she had to leave, maybe she’s saying something along the lines of “well, as I said, I gotta go…”

If I recall that sentence is the first time she says she has to leave, at least in the story. But your thought does make it kind of sense.

Hmmm, yeah, sources on this seem to be kind of light. Seems like more of an emphasis thing than what I was thinking but still has a similar meaning. Not sure I’ve seen this exact usage before either (or I may have ignored it if I did). One to look out for I guess 
I mean, I’d also like to be able to read the article that user is linking, but… they are a moderator with 7000+ answers on Japanese Stack Exchange, which makes me want to trust their answer at least a little and it fits really well.
For what it’s worth, here’s one more reddit user who says something similar.
I’ve heard this a lot. It’s like was mentioned in some previous comments, you’re kinda talking to yourself, you’re kinda announcing what’s happening.. it’s kinda like a rhetorical statement. It’d be like “I guess I’ll be going now” or something similar, where you’re not really looking for an answer, it’s kinda a statement of being.

the link at stackexchange had a further link labeled DOI. that’s “digital object identifier” and is supposed to be the canonical link to things like academic publications (at least, that’s my understanding from clicking around tooooo many journals’s websites). it turns out the paper must be open access, because the DOI link had a further “download pdf” link.

I imagine this is something like “in my drunken rage” or “during a drunken bender”, but the structure is confusing to me. I guess 酔った is modifying 勢い here, which is actually a noun?
入れちゃったん
I know 入れる as “to insert”, but my dictionary has another meaning as “to let in”, so that makes sense to me.
だっけ
I’m still wrapping my head around these little phrase enders, but I guess this one means “trying to recall with uncertainty” here.

Didn’t see many people talking about these, so here’s my take on the sfx:
バタン & ガチャン - the banging open and slamming shut of the door
ぐうううう - Dino’s stomach growling? (love the hand-drawn うs)
ピーーッ - at first i thought this was just some passing of time sfx, but this is a pg8 spoiler i think!
ポチッ & ガバッ - maybe sounds from the other room waking dino up? a click and a clatter or boom?
The dino reveal is classic! I’m just gonna assume he’s watching a drama…
Love the little passage of time panel snuck in here on page 5.
As soon as she’s gone, Dino is right back in the same spot and then directly in her bed. Didn’t touch anything, I guess!

Love dinos face when kaede is putting in her (probably colored) contacts and kaedes reaction of “なんだよ”.
And dino, not allowed to freely use the rooms, just goes to sleep like “whatever. that’s fine, too”.
Did I mention I love this manga series? ^^ It’s just the very best! It’s my go to whenever I’m in the need of comfiness 
Thanks for the discussion on 入る vs 入れる @soggyboy and @Alonzo-xyz - I definitely skated over that when I first read it and assumed she was talking about her getting home and not noticing the dino rather than someone/her putting a dino in her apartment
