Not fixed - I still don’t have access, and even the lesson and review pages don’t load, even from direct links. :sob:

EDIT: lesson picker managed to load, and sure enough there’s that same radical!

I just tried this and it worked for me as well! Checked that my dashboard does not load, manually went to https://www.wanikani.com/subject-lessons/picker and reviewed that one radical, now my dashboard loads.

Aaand with a look at the content movements thread, that is a radical that just moved down today to level 29.

Culprit found.

Learning the Mysterious radical fixed the dashboard for me too! Thanks!

With all the other shifting around that’s scheduled for the next month, I hope this doesn’t become a weekly issue.

Looks like a lot of mysterious thing happened with that mysterious radical… very mysterious  Was that intended, as an exercise for the user, or really just an accident?

(Just kidding lol)

Thanks for the info and reports on this. We’ve found where the problem is stemming from and are working on getting it patched up.

Going to https://www.wanikani.com/subject-lessons/picker and learning the Mysterious radical worked for me too. Seems like the new radical is causing the dashboard to throw an error in the backend, for users of level 29 and above, if you haven’t learned it yet. Fortunately it appears the API was never down, just the dashboard, so you should not lose any progress if you were in the middle of a review or lessons (or if you were using a mobile app).

Big “Thank you!” to all the folks whose detective work figured this out! Great sleuthing, 名探偵-たちさま!
 :bowing_man:

[PS: Is たちさま a thing? I just put さま (for respect) after たち (for plural), but I don’t actually know if that’s proper.]
