My first year of med school was pretty rough. Now I am having a summer break till August so FINALLY some time to study Japanese as much as I want. Yaasss. Canāt wait to level up. Finally.
Since those are literally the Japanese terms for (in)transitive. čŖåč© and ä»åč©. Youāll learn those on WK as well at some point after you learn č©.
Edit: Youāll also see ä» and čŖ as part of verb information in J-J dictionaries.
I checked and found the kanji on level 19
Looking at the vocab list for č© made me so excited; Iāll finally learn words like Adjective, Noun, and ęč©. Hopefully, learning the vocab for ātransitiveā and āintransitiveā will help a bit when I try to categorize the verbs correctly I canāt wait until I reach lvl 19. Just a few more weeks x3
I use the same kanji to indicate which is which when I write down the vocabulary lessons.
I figured she didnāt pull those terms out of thin air.
Not a WaniKani screenshot, but I didnāt know where else to put it. But, WaniKani helped me accomplish this, though? In any case, I feel so smug now. Even though Iām no way advanced. Iām like, only 25% done with N3 grammar on BunPro.
Twomorrowās review pile may be a bit two muchā¦
Hahaha I thought you had a typo while the image was still loading
Since Iām not a linguist, I donāt particularly care whether the label is ātransitiveā or āother-moveā, I just needed a name to refer to the category. The point is, if the verb ārelates to something elseā, the WK meaning should always accept the form with spelling out āsomethingā.
Anyway, thanks for the pointer to Cure Dolly. I watched a few lessons and it seems to be very good material. I like its focus on simplicity. (It goes a bit overboard on bashing textbooks, but some of it is fully justified. Luckily I started on Tae Kim so I avoided the conjugation nightmare some textbooks inflict. Or NHK for that matter - conjugation songs, anyone?)
gdoo tpyeing
I just installed this script that tells you how many days consecutively youāve done your reviews and I have to say Iām really proud of myself. Hope Iāll continue this way.
What website is that? Looks like a great way to practice in a ārealā situation without going off the deep end with Japanese-only websites.
sorry to rez a very old reply, but one day iām gonna ask kouichi if I can make this exact picture as a back patch for my biker jacket.
How many times⦠I donāt know but way too many xD (not talking about the size matter thing )
Around 3 months and some on and off procrastinating later, I finally did it!
The previously 1300 vocab lesson ęŖē£ is defeated!
The only lessons I have left now are the level 27 kanji I need to finish to get me to 28.
Iām going to Japn (Tokyo) for the second time this November so Iām excited to see how much kanji and vocab Iāll be able to jam in before then. It will be fun to compare how much I can read in contrast to my last trip (November 2018).
