Seems like I’ve somehow managed to be in the 90’s in all of these…

Also, reversed-syllable chan paid be a visit today.

I got more wrong today than ever before. I can’t even remember doing the lessons for some of these kanji. What was I doing, completely in a daze? Jeez…

I just got my highest 100%!

I know there are people who have gotten 100% in review sessions with 200+ reviews, but my average high is usually like 8 reviews, and my average % correct has been like 80% recently, so this was a huge boost to my moral, and I’m pretty proud of myself!

So it begins. At the fresh age of level 17. May future reviews be as merciful. (to be honest, I’m rather excited. Can’t wait to gain a few more levels and start slowly indulding myself into native materials)

I think I need to use an American accent in my head for Wanikani mnemonics… (e.g. yoghurt/YOgurt…)

And then this one is just a Homer Simpson “doh!” moment…

aaah, it’s even worse when the same mnemonic is used for multiple vowel sounds; like Tom comes back later for 富(と)む.

at least by then, たま should be one of those instant-recall words far beyond its mnemonic. (you could remember it instead with 玉子(たまご, egg).)

Finally 1000 Kanji!

I think this is the worst review session I had so far (not counting sessions with <10 items where one miss drops you to 90%). It would actually be lower because i ignored a bunch of typos

I love the koichi mnemonics, they are by far the most memorable to me.

Noob question, but where do i find this overall progress?

You click the menu → Profile on your dashboard. But I think you need to install a userscript to see the absolute number of learned items. I only see the percentage

Thanks! I looked around and found this script:

Yeah I personally requested that script so that I can see non-apprentice Kanji/Vocab in my profile page.

I use the override script for typos. Feels bad to get it wrong when you really didn’t :stuck_out_tongue:
