Hello, this is my first post on the forum and i was just wondering, after finishing the free levels of WaniKani, being someone whom is unable to pay for the subscriptions, what alternatives i may take an interest in, to continue learning, WaniKani and Anki have both become huge parts of my Japanese learning journey after i dropped duolingo, any suggestions on lesson like websites where i can learn more about everything japanese related?, here are my resources in which ive found useful for anyone else in the same situation
Side note; Before using Anki, I tried using Quizlet and some flashcard apps rather than making actual irl flashcards for the N5 Kanji ,but it all seemed to insignificant compared to how well Anki has worked for me, every other flashcard website I’ve found besides maybe Lingual-ninja, just doesn’t click for me
The API terms of use require that third party authors do not give access to items of level greater or equal to 4 if the user doesn’t have an active subscription.
Third-party, correct. But I’m pretty sure you can still read them all from the official website as long as you can log in, and I think you can log in even after your free levels expire. (Can’t check anymore without making a new account.) You can’t do the lessons though, you would have to manually read them from the item pages.
ive just been using WK for the levels, thats why im sad to run out of them, i have other apps for SRS and mnemonics being anki, mochikanji and tofugu’s mnemonics, the radicals, i can all find on jisho, thanks for the reminder thought <3
that would SUCK, to have to go and create your own flashcards by reading each WaniKani kanji that would be given for every level, that’s so much effort LOL
