This is very cute! I’ll try it on my personal computer after I finish work today
Very very cute! Can’t wait to try it
Honestly if I were using light theme this is one I would use, it’s right up my alley in terms of color palette. And nice job redefining the CSS variables, this will make it compatible with scripts that also use them (sadly many scripts are old and don’t though; this is also why Breeze Dark 2 has a whole section dedicated just to fixing some script styling). Thank you for sharing!
Thank you for making this! I just installed and did my reviews. It looks so cute
I’m using it right now, I think it’s lovely one thing that I missed though, is color differentiation for meaning and pronunciation (like in the original wk’s UI the meaning is light and the pronunciation is dark).
Can you give me an example using a screenshot? I might look it up.
Sure!
So, I’m talking about this bar tha goes right under the vocabulary.
On the original UI, it’s light grey when you’re supposed to input Vocabulary Meaning
:
And it is black when you’re supposed to input Vocabulary Reading
On your theme - for me at least (I’m using Firefox on Mac OS) - the bar is light grey on both cases:
When doing reviews users want to do it as fast as they can, especially if having a big batch, and this visual hint helps a lot with that! Of course the black wouldn’t go with your theme, but I think just using another colour in the theme’s palette would do the trick!
This is set by either data-question-type="reading"
or data-question-type="meaning"
, so it should be possible to add a rule targeting that attribute to the CSS.
Style has been updated with color differentiation for meaning and reading text bar background in lessons.
it’s lovely, thanks ^^
Looks amazing! Thanks for sharing
