I do have a waldo-colored shirt. I don’t get lost as much but my thoughts do.
I don’t remember accepting your offer of a job. I mean you can certainly hire me, but I am not cheap.
We’ve been doing it for about a year now.
For all you guys who never remember hearing about it, here’s how it works:
-Once you finish level 3, you get an automated email saying congrats and asking if you’d like to get a present from us.
(This is where it ends for a lot of people because either 1)their spam filter eats the message, 2)they ignore it/don’t see it, or 3)they think it’s a scam/we’re trying to send you junk mail )
-If you do get the email, you reply with your mailing address, we put something together, and get it in the mail for you. We mail to anywhere, but the delivery rate with international mail isn’t always perfect.
So, for anyone who wants one, here’s what you should do.
-If you haven’t finished level 3 yet, just wait: the Crabigator rewards patience! 
-If you have, shoot us an email with your full name and street address so we know where to send it. If you’re from outside the US, please arrange your address according to your country’s postal formatting guidelines, as that makes it much more likely that it’ll actually make it to you! We try to look up the correct formats, but the answer isn’t always a quick Google away.
Oh, and SPOILERS the present is a postcard + handwritten note from one of us + some Crabigator stickers, so you can show off you WaniKani swag.

Generally, I say give it up to about a month. If you haven’t gotten anything by then, something’s probably gone horribly wrong and all of our computers have caught on fire.
Either that, or something probably got screwed up with your mailing and the letter is on it’s way back to us. It’s a 50/50.
Whatever the case, feel free to let us know that it never showed, and we can try again.
